Amiens, 11.05.2020 - BWTS is starting the next stage of its successful company history. After moving our headquarters to a larger building near Rostock, Germany and opening a new branch office in Nordhorn, Germany in 2019, we continue our dynamic growth by founding BWTS France SAS with a branch office in Amiens, France.
From the beginning in the small office in Stäbelow and now internationally represented.
Continuous development of our service portfolio and consistent customer orientation are the success factors of the company, which was founded in 2009 as a one-man office for services related to wind turbines in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. With the move within Rostock, an important strategic step for the further development of the company and attractive working conditions was implemented in 2019 in a larger office building in Erlenweg in Stäbelow. At the same time, a third branch office was opened in Nordhorn, Emsland region, at the end of 2019.
Now the step into the neighbouring country France follows, where in May 2020 BWTS France SAS was founded with its headquarters in Amiens
- as a 100% subsidiary of BWTS GmbH.
Customer proximity and international growth
"We have already had a strong presence in Germany for many years and can respond to customer enquiries at short notice thanks to our locations in Stäbelow, Seevetal and Nordhorn. With the foundation of BWTS France SAS we are now strengthening our position internationally and sustainably", says BWTS GmbH Managing Director Michael Richter. In addition to this, the first projects and enquiries from neighbouring countries, such as the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, have been received. For the near future BWTS GmbH plans to grow further and to further internationalize the business. "Here we react to the strategic orientation of our customers as well as to international inquiries and customer-specific projects in the on- and offshore area. In the meantime the service portfolio of BWTS GmbH is very broad and includes statutory inspections, maintenance work, repairs, general overhauls, installations, transformer maintenance, commissioning, bolt testing, DGUV V3 testing, pressure vessel testing, repair of oil and mould damage and dismantling," Michael Richter continues.
